Maybe: Mri would help to determine how much the tendon is seperated. If the ends are close together, then casting for about 6-8 weeks may be all you need. Surgery might make the tendon heal faster probably but not always. Have a podiatrist or orthopaedic doctor evaluate you for the best treatment option.
