No 2 cases the same: In clinical stage ii non-small-cell cancer, the burning question may actually be "candidate for surgical cure". If you are vomiting at this stage, one burning question is possible brain metastases; if you have intractable bloody cough, we want to rule out a cancer-induced pneumonia. The decision to delay or proceed with chemotherapy is too tricky to be settled in 400 words. Good luck.

Stage II NSCLC: Is usually designated after surgery, but perhaps you are related the ct finding of hilar nodes. Coughing blood in lung cancer needs to be managed promptly, but the therapy is surgery first. The delay is to discern if you have n-2 nodes & stage iii. Best to clarify with your surgeon and pulmonary doctor, med onc or rad onc.
