Let's define problem: Doctors define constipation as stools less frequently than once every 3-4 days. Patients feel they are "constipated" when passing hard or small volume stool, or they feel full & bloated. We know from your x-ray you're not blocked. We don't know if your gut is sluggish or your rectum works correctly--these can be tested for (sitz marker study & anal manometry, respectively). See a GI specialist.

Go on liquids: Diet only and eliminate caffeine and alcohol both of which contribute to constipation. Take some milk of magnesia 1-2 tbsp every 12 hours until cleaned out. If it feels like you have tool in the rectum, use either a glycerine suppository or fleet enema (sodium bisphosphate). But you need to be thoroughly cleaned out in order to consider a colonoscopy, so do the above first and maintain a high fiber diet and drink 80oz/.
