Circulation: Swelling can occur from inadequate pumping of blood/fluid up the leg. Sometimes one leg can be affected more than other. Lymphedema can affect one leg and not the other. Check with your physician.

Lymphedema: Sounds like you may be having lymphedema which is a blockage of the lymph nodes that drain the excess bad fluid and bacteria out of your system and in this case your leg. You should see a vascular doctor or lymphedema specialist.
