The symptoms you: describe may be associated with pregnancy but they're NOT symptoms of menopause Lower extremity swelling is very common in pregnancy. Pregnancy also increases the risk of carpal tunnel symptoms which can cause hand pain. You may be going thru menopause but, most likely it's unrelated to your pain & swelling that you're experiencing.
