Hiatal hernia: Hiatal hernia can casue the symptoms you described. If medication does not relieve symptoms you should consult a gastro-enterologist for possible referal to a surgeon for correction of hiatal hernia.

Easily: Nausea and vomiting are classic symptoms for large hiatal hernias, sometimes referred to as para esophageal hernias. Generally need an upper GI contrast study for diagnosis.

Consider gallbladder: Your complaints could be due to the hiatal hernia. If you feel sick after eating fatty foods then the gallbladder is more likely to be the trouble maker. If solid firm foods like steak or doughy bread cause problems then likely the hiatal hernia is causing your problems. A GI doctor or surgeon can help you sort this out.
