Surgery?: External hemorrhoids that have been present for years do not respond to creams, etc, so if they are large enough to cause you problems, removal is really the only solution. See your local general surgeon or colon & rectal surgeon to discuss best options for you. Usualy an outpatient procedure, and although painful to recover from, very short-lived and should diminish your 'embarassment'.

You probably have : Residual external skintags from prior flares of your external hemorrhoids. Ignore them and avoid local irritation during your intimacy; ot necessary or practical to undergo surgery to remove unless there are significant hygeine problems.
