Imitrex (sumatriptan) side effects how long do they last commonly? and can taking imitrex (sumatriptan) cause toxic neuropathy?

Avoid using it: Imitrex (sumatriptan) is a triptan. There are several different forms. Many patients can not tolerate one but do well with another. Imitrex (sumatriptan) can cause nausea and dizziness which should resolve within a couple hours. I am unaware of any reports of Imitrex (sumatriptan) neuropathy.

Imitrex (sumatriptan) side effects: The side effects of imitrex, (sumatriptan) which are normally changes in heart rate, dizziness, or sleepiness, normally last less than one day. Imitrex should not cause neuropathy. If you have neuropathy, there is probably some other cause.
