See a dentist: Does he have significant bleeding with the pain too? Take him to a dentist ir an surgeon as soon as you can. It should not be anything serious and tearing the frenum is of course painful. But it is best to get it checked out soon

Often nothing needed: This tissue when cut or abraided will bleed, and be sore for a while, but typically nothing is needed. It will heal on it's own fairly quickly. If the injury is severe, go to an oral surgeon.

No treatment: is needed. It sure sounds painful, but thankfully, the mouth heals very quickly so the discomfort has probably subsided in a few days. Rinse with worm salt water 3X per day and NSAIDs or Tylenol (acetaminophen) for pain management. Take care.

Torn frenum: As all the other doctors have said, it will heal on it's own assuming your description is diagnostic. To be sure, however, would be wise to see your Dentist to make sure that your examination has not missed anything of importance.
