Problem below mouth: Halitosis is the fancy word for 'bad breath.' by far the processes of bacteria are responsible for the odor. If you are practicing good oral hygiene (regular tooth care, flossing, brushing, oral rinse with disinfectant, brushing tongue) then the problem may be further down in the gastrointestinal tract, to include the esophagus, stomach, and intestines. See your doctor for more assistance for help.

Bad Breath: Bad breath is a symptom of a possible dental problem. The only way to rule that out, is to get a comprehensive dental examination. Not all bad breath come from your teeth, gums or tongue. There can be other medical conditions like loss of weight, intestinal problems, sinus and tonsil infection. Your medical doctor can help you on these possible sources of the problem.
