Either or : The drug stays in your system so daytime or nighttime dosage would give you the same result. That being said I have some patients who primarily have hot flashes at night. They feel they get a better result by dosing their hormones at in the evening. Others have hot flashes during the day and they feel they get better results by dosing in the morning. Try it both ways and see which you like best

Depends: Some women will do better in the am versus pm, and others will do better pm versus am. My advice is if you are having symptoms such as hot flashes, try changing the time of day you are taking your estrogen before the dose is increased. This will work for some women and allow you to take the lowest possible dose.
