Not correct: Epilepsy is very complex. Focal muscle jerks can occur without any change in consciousness. Sudden muscle spasms can occur that make you drop things or throw things or fall to the ground - and you can be fully aware and conscious throughout the event.

Tough: You may need an eeg and it may be possible to have awareness during a seizure but considering the physiology it sounds rare, i'm not a neurologist but a pseudo seizure, a kind of reaction to severe stress, looks just like a seizure but can be baffling. Good luck, someone will give u a better answer.
