Eat: Multivitamins are loaded with vitamins and minerals, hence the name. They routinely cause upset stomach in many people. You can try taking them with food, this sometimes will alleviate or at least lessen the discomfort. Also trying a different brand can sometimes help.

Your vitamins: Multivitamins are worthless and potentially dangerous. Your symptoms are probably directly due to your vitamins. Stop taking all vitamins and you will feel better almost immediately. Eat a balanced diet and exercise more, and that will improve your GERD as well, although you may have to take some medication for that.
