Egg size: The size is usually about 16-22mm. Egg size is also considered important for fertilization also and this size is optimal.

0.14 mm: Is the average size of the ovulating egg, which occurs in mid-cycle between menstrual periods. The egg is able to be fertilized by one of the millions of small sperms (each @ 0.005 mm--not visible to naked eye) and is visible to naked eye. No, if it is a healthy egg, size does not matter--which is true about a lot of things in life_:).
