Colonoscopy: Idepends on personal preference. There are cases where individuals decided not to get any anesthesia for this procedure.

Depends: It depends on the type of anesthesia you are given. Some places use fentanyl plus versed, which takes a little longer to take effect, and you may have minimal discomfort during procedure. With Propofol which is given routinely in most places, you should not feel anything or remember anything.
