Let go: It is sleep like that induced by too much alcohol or deliberately brought on by a sleeping pill only you will be watched carefully by a doctor during the whole time and you will be woken up to go home when it is done. Colonoscopy can get uncomfortable since air is used to separate the walls of bowel so the inside surface can be carefully examined. The worst part is the preparation the day before.
