Dry eye treatment: There are many treatments for dry eye available. First line treatments include artificial tears during the day, ointment at night, warm compresses 1-2 times daily, and omega-3 fatty acid supplements. If these measures do not control symptoms, you should see your eye doctor to consider additional treatments.

Several options.: Frequent artificial tear use, punctual plugs which are placed by your Ophthalmologist, Restasis prescription drops which help your eyes to produce more tears, and sometimes, omega-3 supplementation can be helpful.
