Control your weight: Kidney disease primarily comes from diabetes and hypertension. If you never develop these disease or control these disease, then you will preserve your kidney function. Ultimately, if you control your weight , minimize salt intake and get regular exercise, you are less likely to develop diabetes and htn. Then you won't develop kidney disease.
