Very subjective: Age and more additional illnesses like heart iesase and diabetes, a person has besides kidney failure the more they may not feel good after dialysis.Dialysis can be lifesaving but has its unique set of disadvantages like infections, feeling of fatigue and lifestyle issues and commitments to attend the dialysis sessions.

Possibly: However, dialysis will be consuming a lot of their time. They will likely need 3 sessions per week, at 3-4 hours per session. This alone will decrease their quality of life. However, I have had some dialysis patients remain active into their eighties. It will largely depend on their quality of life prior to starting dialysis.
