Effective for what?: I'm sure its effective for staying drunk. For feeling bloated. And if you want to drive away family and friends im guessing it would work fairly well. Not healthy, lots of carbs and alcohol. Drop the guinness, replace with water, add other fruits, vegtables, lean protien sources and some whole grains. Get healthy sleep and exercise, two things guinness wont help with.
