Topical therapy: Treatment depends on the size and number of the placques. One or a few can be treated with topical agents to decrease the thickness of the placque and treat the inflammation. Topical steroids and vitamin d is a current successful combination. Intralesional steroids or topical steroids under occlusion may also be used.
