A member asked:

What could cause my gums and glands to be swollen?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Infection: The glands are lymph nodes. They are factories that produce antibidies. When they work overtime, as in the case of an infection, they swell and become painful. Have the area evaluated by a dentist asap.
