Get evaluated: Swelling of any kind is sign of inflammation. The question is what's the cause. You should not treat anything unless you know for sure what the diagnosis is. Ulcers on gums have many causes. Two isolated ulcers could be aphthous ulcers, traumatic ulcers, or something else. Warm salt water rinses and topical corticosteroids (only recommended after a medical review) can help with that.
