Yes.: Yes. I am a chronic pain management specialist. I have had many patients who have ruptured lumbar discs who exhibit thoracic and neck pain on examination. You may need a cervical and/or thoracic MRI to determine if you have concomitant thoracic and neck bulging, protruding, or herniated discs.
