Longer recovery: There are 3 types of ulnar nerve repositioning for a ulnar nerve entrapment syndrome: 1. Simple decompression 2. Subcutaneous ulnar transposition 3. Submuscular ulnar transposition transposition surgery means to change the position of, from around the elbow to in front. Simple decompression surgery is as effective as the transposition surgery in most cases, and has a quicker recovery time.
