A member asked:

What are the risks of ulnar nerve transposition please?

3 doctors weighed in across 2 answers

Only a few: All surgery has potential risk, and the procedure mentioned could cause infection, bleeding, and post-operative scarring. If the nerve gets injured, or suffers inflammation, there could be increased numbness, weakness, and even severe nerve pain (causalgia). Occasionally, even risk free surgery may not improve the original problems. But, all in all, most of these procedures are without harm.
