Shellfish, beer,wine: The foods to avoid are fermented beverages(like beer and wine), shellfish, banannas, smoked meat and fish, organ meats(liver), peanuts, and excess caffeine. If you have had more then one attack of gout go you your doctor for treatment as these attacks can lead to arthritis.
