Unlikely: We don't typically follow 1 number to diagnose diabetes but a fasting sugar of 94 is normal and is not in the diabetes range. Fasting sugar > 126, random blood sugar > 200 (with symptoms like thirst, excess urine output, weight loss) or a test called hemoglobin A1c > 6.5% will give you the diagnosis of diabetes. An oral glucose tolerance test is another test you can do to diagnose diabetes.
