Sitz baths: Sit in clean, warm water, either in a bath tub or you can get special small tubs "sitz baths" that are more limited. If warm does not work then ice down the water as cold is a natural anesthetic. Cold compresses might also help. Obviously, you must avoid sex or anything else in the vagina to allow healing, and if it does not start to improve you must be checked.
