A member asked:

What could cause seizures in my sleep?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Brain attacks: Certain types of seizure seem to be more likely to occur from sleep. A benign focal epilepsy of childhood is such a type. Patients with complex partial seizures may be activated by sleep. Medications taken only in the morning may drop in level at night causing a seizure. An all night eeg sleep recording may help understand the condition.
