Try to listen: Many of us have a degree of deafness. Sometimes hearing aides help, sometimes not. Filtering out bad noise and attending to what is important is the goal. Using other senses to compensate really helps. Avoiding harmful noise is important. Attention to facial expressions and watching their mouth can be very helpful. Learn to live with it.
