Kidney Stone: Well, i think i sound like a broken record but if you just had a stent and are feeling ill, contact the physician who did the procedure or your family doc. They would no best what to do because they are currently treating you.

Stents: Ureteral stents can cause quite a bit of discomfort. Some tolerate them fairly well while some feel they are nearly as uncomfortable as a stone in the ureter. Nausea can be addressed with Phenergan (promethazine) suppositories while pain can be improved with oral Flomax and ketorolac. Continued use of narcotics over a long period can result in dependency.
