A member asked:

Can rowatinex help in dissolving a renal stone of 1.9 cm?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

NO: Its a big stone and most likely will require some type of intervention. Rowatinex does not dissolve stones and does not replace surgery as the treatment option for stones. It promotes a diuresis and relaxes urinary tract spasm, thus assisting the passage of stones. It does not have a significant effect on clearance rate of stones after swl. However, it can accelerate stone passage with no sid ef.
