A member asked:

How long should i take off work for a pulled hamstring?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Depends on what kind of work and how bad the pull is. In general muscle strains take about 6 weeks to heal. If one can walk with crutches, and does a sedentary job, only a few days off may be needed. If job is manual labor expect to take off 4 to 6 weeks.
