No: Scaphoid fractures are not too uncommon in cricketers as the the direct impact of a leather ball on the hand is a mechanism of injury. The scaphoid is a very important bone in the hand. If fractured it's treated in a cast or more typically with surgery. Healing takes upto 3-6months, and during this time it's important to protect it. Playing cricket with a scaphoid fracture is not advised.

No: Impact and rotation can affecthealing of this fracture even if non displaced. This is one fracture that i would not recommend that one does this sport with.
