What disease has symptoms similar to that of multiple sclerosis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Several: The confirmation of ms involves excluding several diseases that seem similar at times. Perhaps the biggest challenge is cadasil, a genetic disorder associated with migraines and small strokes. However, other disorders can cause confusion such as lupus, lyme disease, b-12 deficiency, sjogren's, arteritis, and a number of rare disorders. The MRI may seem similar in some of these cases.
