Not medical terms: These are not medical terms for intoxication from a substance, intoxication is a set of symptoms of acute effects from any mind altering substance be it alcohol or "drugs" in every day usage however, being drunk usually refers to drinking too much alcohol, and being high refers to effects of just about every other substance ex. Marijuna, cocaine, heroin, etc.
