A member asked:

How long will my son be contagious with the chicken pox?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No less than a week : No less than a week from the first blister and up until the last blister has dried. They are often most contagious in their oral secretions in the day or so before they break out, but virus from the blisters can spread it too.
