Anti-TB meds: The usual course of therapy for active TB is 2 months of isoniazid, rifampin, pryazinamide, and ethambutol, followed by 4 months of isoniazide and rifampin. However, this can vary depending on the specific characteristics of your infection.

A cocktail of meds: To kill germs within the body we stop them from reproducing, so existing germs die off & new ones cannot further the infection. Many germs reproduce within 10 minutes & these are easier to kill than TB that may take a month or more. One or more drugs may fail & TB might mutate to resist it.It takes so long to know, that you take several anti-TB drugs at once to stop it & do so for a long time.
