A member asked:

What do patients with hepatitis b need to be isolated from?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No isolation need: There is no need to isolate anyone with hepatitis b. You don't catch it from casual contacts--body fluid/blood, yes. It is not transmitted via sneezing/coughing etc..Thus, there is no need to isolate. Just be careful. If you have concern, consult doc. Good luck.
