Cycle control: The acne that occurs in conjunction with pcos is likely due to an elevated testosterone level. Cycle control with ocp's will gradually lower the testosterone and will eventually help most women with pcos. There are also medications that can block the effect of testosterone on the oil glands in the skin to help decrease the acne. See you doctor.

Lifestyle change: Low carb diet (plenty of vegetables, flesh foods, eggs, olive oil, some saturated fat) is the key. Inflammation causing foods such as sugar, grains, lentils, milk products (except for butter) should be eliminated. Atleast 30 min of sunshine at noon time is very important to help reduce inflammation. Alternatively, take vit D3 5000 IU/day. Additionally, daily probiotics also help.
