Breast Lift: Mastopexy is a surgical lifting of sagging breast tissue. This is accomplished via removing stretched skin sometimes adding new support to the breast tissue. There are multiple approaches, each with advantages and disadvantages. These include the periareolar (around the nipple), vertical ("lollipop scar"), and wise pattern ("anchor scar") approaches. The nipple is often re-centered simultaneously.

Breast lift: A mastopexy is a way to redrape and sometimes rearrange the breast to a more pleasing position and contour. It requires different incisions, may require liposuction and in some cases an implant is needed to achieve a more pleasing result.
