Some severe: Mastopexy can have several adverse effects. This is major surgery, and should not be undertaken lightly. Risks can range from scarring, unacceptable or not, unacceptable appearance, pain, loss of sensation, and infection, to more severe problems such as loss of tissue, deformity, inability to breast feed, and difficulty with future mammograms. Only trust a board certified plastic surgeon!
