Depends on diagnosis: Azoospermia can be caused by many things. Blockage from prior infection, surgery, chemotherapy or radiation damage, hormonal issues or simply, the testicle running out of sperm producing cells. The last cause is the most difficult because there is no treatment. Sometimes even though there are no sperm in the ejaculate, we can find sperm in the testicle that can be used with ivf/ icsi.
