Depends what type: Many urines can measure down to25- 30 miu a few even lower but the concemtartion of the urine can effect the accuarcy, but a blood test measures down to 5 miu and is not affected obviously by urine concentration, and no urine test can measure that low.

No alcohol or stress: Avoid her getting over tired or lifting heavy objects. Be as helpful & supportive as you can and avoid imparting any negative feelins about having a multiple birth pregnancy. Please treat her like royalty and don't share concerns about any negative impact on the family such as increased financial impact of educating mulitiple children. Good luck.

Am due my periods in a week if i took a pregnancy test the now would the result be reliable?

Highly unlikley: While it is so tempting to see ifyou are pregnant, it is way too early for any pregnancy hormone (beta hcg) to show up in your urine for a home pregnancy test. A blood test would also be negative as well this early as an embryo would just be implanating about now (5-7 days after ovulation), and not secreting bhcg over a very minute amount.

A 37-year-old member asked:

Is it reliable if the pregnancy test also came out negative ?

Dr. William Coutts ii

Repeat test: A pregnancy test can be negative even if you are pregnant for the first seven to ten days that you are pregnant. Repeat the pregnancy test in seven to ten days after the initial test. If it is still negative you probably are not pregnant. See you doctor if you still have concerns after the second pregnacy test.
