Depends on cause: There are many reasons for epilepsy. Trauma, infection, tumors, metabolic and toxic causes all would carry no risk to you. Some familial forms may carry up to a 50% risk. If there is a underlying disorder that has a definite test, you could be tested to see if your have the same disorder. Even then it may not be that you would have the same symptoms. Better to assume you are fine.
