How low?: An increase in red cell size, macrocytosis, may account for the disparity. Alcohol and low thyroid function may cause macrocytosis with near normal hemoglobin.

I drink plenty of fluids and do not take any diuretic medication. My rbc, hemoglobin, hematocrit and creatinine are consistently high. My blood sodium is consistently low normal. What conditions can cause chronic hypovolemia?

31y.old. Looking at my blood tests from the last 8 years, I see that in my annual check ups my hemoglobin ranges from 13-13.7 and my hematocrit from 38-40.My rbc's from 4.4-4.7 Are these variations normal?
