Can swallowing some antibiotics be of help for a hemorhoid ?

No: Antibiotics would be of no use for a swollen or painful hemorrhoid. It would be quite rare to develop infection in severely prolapsed & gangrenous hemorrhoids, and then antibiotics pills would not be of help either.

NO: No place for antibiotics for hemorrhoids the majority of the time. If you are not sure it is a hemorrhoid and might be an abscess, see your doctor first before taking any antibiotics that you may have lying around the house.
