Sleep on your back: Avoid sleeping on your shoulders, or sides. Try to keep arms down to your side. Don't sleep on your stomach. To help keep your arms to your sides, and not above your head, wrap your arms with soft pillows and safety pin them on. This will weigh your arms down a little, and you will be less likely to sleep with them above your head.
