Whitening toothpaste: Removal of superficial stain may be accomplished by persistent use of otc whitnening toothpaste. There are also otc whitening gels available. Their concentration is lower than what a dentist may prescribe so it will likely take significantly longer to see results.

Tooth whitening: There are many home tooth whitening products. Discuss with your dentist as the systems the dentist dispenses may be safer and get better results. Before whitening you need to have the teeth examined to make sure you do not have any areas of tooth decay. If any products burn your gums or your teeth become sensitive to air/cold discontinue and let your dentist know asap.

Bleaching trays: The best way to whiten your teeth at home is to get a set of custom bleaching trays and some quality 15-22% carbamide peroxide bleaching gel. Good luck!
